Northern’s Senior Girls Cross Country team ran their best team race of the year to finish second at the OFSAA cross country championships.  Scoring for the Vikings were Marie-Louise Asselin (9th), Claire Percival (39th), Kara Wark (55th), and Jamie Sivell (68th).  Bronwyn Douglas (160th) was the non-scorer.  St. Christopher was fifth in the race with Lydia Willemse (12th), Candace Crombeen (41st), Laura Gill (49th) and Jaclyn Doyle (149th) scoring for the Cyclones.  Carly Gill was unable to complete the course because of illness.  41 teams and 243 runners competed in the division.

St. Clair Senior Boys were 25th in that division.  Scoring for the Colts were Mike Percival (127th), Josh DeGroot (143rd), Mike Poaps (164th) and Graham Beatty (165th).  David Moore of St. Christopher was unable to compete due to injury. 39 teams and 244 individuals competed in the senior boys division.

 Lambton Central Junior Girls finished tenth with Alicia Phillips (62nd), Alicia Barnes (79th), Vanessa Vanerp (116th) and Jordan Smith (148th) scoring for the Lancers.  Karly Campbell (201st) was the non-scorer.  Northern was 24th in the same division with Katie Sivell (24th), Lindsay Postil (69th), Emily King (210th) and Christie Kohut (226th) scoring for the Vikings.  MacKenzie Walker (227th) was the non-scorer.  Keegan Castrillo of St. Patrick’s finished 52nd as an individual runner.  There were 38 teams and 246 runners in the junior girls division.

In the junior boys division, Cason King of St. Christopher finished 59th and Cory McCurry of Northern finished 73rd out of 244 runners.

Lambton Central Midget Girls finished tenth with Val Christie (12th), Virgie Vandenkorput (32nd), Jenelle Christopher (147th), and Jillian McMurphy (168th) scoring for the Lancers.  Rachel Racher (221st) was the non-scorer.  Gina Pacheco (61st) from St. Christopher and Haley Cadwallader (99th) from SCITS competed as individuals.  There were 38 teams and 244 runners in the midget girls division.

In the midget boys division, Michael Butler of St. Christopher finished 40th out of 247 runners.
