University Cross Country

 Quebec Conference

 Laura Wilson (Northern) led her McGill Martlets team to the QSSF title with a first place finish.  Laura was voted all-conference athlete of the year and was also a Quebec conference all star.  McGill will run in the CIS championships on November 13th in Guelph.

 Ontario Conference

 Andrea Brouwer (North Lambton) with an 18th place finish and 4th counter helped the Western Mustangs to a second place finish behind the #1 ranked Guelph Gryphons.  Western will run in the CIS championships on November 13th in Guelph.

 Chris d’Esterre (Northern) with a 19th place finish and second counter and Russell Christie (Lambton Central) with a 25th place finish and third counter helped the Mustangs’ men to a fifth place finish behind first place Windsor Lancers who are currently ranked #1 in the CIS.

 Former Northern athletes, Katie Andruchow with a 35th place finish and number one counter and Leigh Jackson with a 66th place finish and number five counter helped Laurier Golden Hawks to an tenth place finish.

 Andre Maddison (St. Christopher) finished 83rd in the men’s race for Laurier whose team was eleventh overall.

 Kathleen Crawford (Northern) finished 88th and was the fifth counter for the Nipissing Lakers who finished thirteenth overall.

 NCAA

Alyson Kohlmeier (St. Patrick’s) finished 7th for the Michigan Wolverines and was their second counter as the Wolverines won the Big Ten championship.  Alyson was also named to the All Big Ten 1st Team.  Michigan will compete at the Great Lakes NCAA regional on November 13 just down the road at Eastern Michigan.  Michigan is currently ranked fourth in the NCAA.

 Jessica Crate (Northern) finished 20th and was the fifth counter for the Arizona State Sun Devils.  The Sun Devils finished second in the Pac 10 meet behind NCAA #1 ranked Stanford.  Arizona State heads for Fresno State on November 13 to compete in the NCAA west region championships.  Arizona State is ranked eight in the NCAA.

Jocelyn Gibson (Lambton Central) finished 61st and was seventh on the Cincinnati Bearcats team that finished sixth in the Conference USA championships.  Cincinnati will compete at the Great Lakes Regional on November 13 in Ypsilanti, MI.

Doug Currie (Northern) finished 10th and was the second counter for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.  The Chanticleers finished third in the Big South Conference behind winning High Point Panthers.  Coastal Carolina will run at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Greenville, NC on November 13.
