Brad Huey wins Gold, Maggie Mullen Silver at National Track Legions

Edmonton - Three members of the Sarnia Athletics Southwest Track and Field Club represented Ontario at the recent Canadian Legion Track & Field Championships. Brad Huey won gold medal in the high jump with a leap of 1.92 metres in the 17 years and under category at the annual National Legion meet at Foote Field in Edmonton. Huey, the 2005 OFSAA senior high jump gold medallist has a personal best of 2.05m. Maggie Mullen placed 2^nd to win the silver in the 17 and under girl’s javelin throw with a distance of 39.53 metres. Mullen also placed 8^th in the discus. David Moore placed 5^th in the 17 and under 800 metres in 1:58.02 and added a 7^th in the 1500 metres in 4:03.89.
