8) Grade ten, I had a good throwing arm and wanted a third sport for the school year. Good throwing tradition at NCIVS also.
 
9) Participation means many things. Fitness, both mentally and physically. Personal growth, through success and failure.  Friendship, with a diverse group of enthusiasts of all ages.  Knowledge, there is always more to learn.  The pursuit of excellence- the journey from potential  to realization.
 
10)  Technically, I have improved at times mainly because I have been able to let go of my own concepts and listen to others.
 Physically, I have improved because I paid my dues and worked my derriere off.
                   
11)  Career Highlights- Winning OTFA Junior Championship 79 and two Senior Championships twenty years later.                      
                               -  Back to back OTFA Senior men's Championships both held in Sarnia 98, 99.(Home crowd)
                               - Two Canadian Master's Age group records M35-39 63.10m, M40-44 59.57m
                               - Throwing the 40-44 record to finish 8th at a very competitive Olympic Trials in '00. 
 
12)  Future goals - at my stage of the game, to stay HEALTHY. Train Hard - Train Smart. Just maybe, throw farther.
                        - To continue to throw as a master's athlete and still surprise occasionally in open competitions.
                        - Make friends, travel the globe and compete.
 
13) Plans after I finish...........throwing: Why,....throw some more, of course!!
      Unless injury strikes me down, in which case golf will be a whole lot easier on my body!
