St-Galmier, France – In front of a crowd of 28,000, Hilary Edmondson formerly of Sarnia finished in 59th place in the Senior Women’s Short Course Cross Country race on the second and final day of the 33rd edition of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in St-Etienne/St-Galmier.

Edmondson, who now resides in Guelph, moved up well after initially running in 78th place at half way in her first World Championship appearance as a senior athlete.
