2007 Club News
The
Sarnia Athletics Southwest Track and Field Club is pleased to announce that
Justin Farina, a former multi-sport athlete from St. Christopher's Secondary
School and graduate of Miami University (Ohio), will be working this summer for
the club in the capacity of summer track and field Assistant Coach, as well as
the Sarnia Athletics Southwest's Junior Development Camp Director. The camp,
which is for elementary aged athletes entering grades 3 to 8, will run Monday to
Thursdays throughout the months of July and early August. The program will
provide age-appropriate coaching to young athletes, with a focus on developing
proper track and field skills and technique, and general physical fitness.
Justin recently graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor's
Degree in Primary/Junior Education. As a member of the Windsor Lancer's Track
and Field team, Justin was an OUA medalist in the shot put, while also finishing
in 6th place at the CIS Indoor Track and Field Championships. For
