2006 Results

Local athletes from Sarnia travelled to Windsor with the Sarnia Athletics Southwest recently to compete in a Twilight track and Field meet. Ashley Camden and Chris Anderson each won their respective discus throws and Camden’s team mate Maggie Mullen finished second in the event. Mullen also added a second place finish in the women’s javelin throw. Some other good performances in the throws were completed by Casey Garbaty with a 3^rd place in the javelin, Emily King who placed 4^th in the javelin, and Jackson Gray who finished 4^th in the men’s shot put. In the men’s high jump competition Brad Huey and Derek Drouin rounded off the medal positions with a 2^nd and 3^rd place finish respectively. The Sarnia Club was also represented well by many runners at this meet. Adrienne Payne won the women’s 400m hurdle race while Joe Mondoux finished 2^nd in the men’s event. Team mates Andrew Douglas and Jordan Cote walked away with a 3^rd and 4^th place in the men’s 1500m run while Keegan Castrillo and Haley Cadwallader took 3^rd and 4^th place in the women’s race.
