8. Why did you start participating in Track and Field: I started in gr.5 at elementary school because I was a good athlete and enjoyed playing all sports.

9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to you: It means competing to the very best of your ability at every competition and working hard during practice to see continual improvement.

10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the sport: All of my improvements can be directly attributed to coaching and hard work. I put a lot of time, and sweat into practices, and also in the weight room and I believe I couldn't have accomplished anything without hard work. I have also been fortunate to have coaches willing to share their time and expertise in order to help me improve.

11. What is the highlight of your athletic career: Competing for Canada at the IAAF World Youth Games, it was an incredible experience I feel lucky to have enjoyed.

12. Future Goals: My ultimate goal is to obtain an athletic scholarship, and make the World Jr. or Pan Am Jr. team. Other than that I just hope to improve my times and distances.

13. Plans after you finish running: I plan on entering the medical field, eventually becoming a sports doctor or physiotherapist

14. Inspirational quote: "The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."
