13. Coaching inspirations: First of all my parents were the greatest influences throughout my athletic endeavors, through knowledge of the sport itself and mostly through overall support for my well-being. John Allan, Denise Hebert, and Bruce Pirnie have had the greatest effect on me in regard to development in the throws. They continue to be supportive in everything that I do which continues to help me on and off the track. My coaching techniques tend to revolve around their strategies. Dennis Fairall was also very supportive throughout my university career. He was very supportive when I was looking to try new events and has gone above and beyond his coaching duties to help me in any way needed.
