8. Why did you start participating in Track and Field: I always
found running and jumping so much fun. Plus it was just another
sport at school I could have been doing. Another way to burn my
energy and miss school.
9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to you: It’s a
chance to be able to participate on a team but also being able to
work for yourself at the same time. You get to meet new people
and it helps keep you healthy while doing something you love.
10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the sport:
Always striving for goals, great coaches and full support from
family and friends.
11. What is the highlight of your athletic career: Finishing 3rd
at the NCAA Championships in the Heptathlon (2007); Winning the
NACAC Under-23 Championships in both the high jump and heptathlon
and receiving Female Athlete of the Meet (2008)
12. Future Goals: Make
the London 2012 Olympics National Team, graduate with a
chiropractic degree and get into a sport medicine field.
