7. Major Achievements: Gold medal in high jump at OFSAA (2003), Representing Canada at the IAAF World Youth Track & Field Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec (2003)

8. Why did you start participating in Track and Field:  I always found running and jumping so much fun.  Plus it was just another sport at school I could have been doing.  Another way to burn my energy and miss school.

9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to you:  It’s a chance to be able to participate on a team but also being able to work for yourself at the same time.  You get to meet new people and it helps keep you healthy while doing something you love.

10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the sport:  Always working for goals and great coaches.

11. What is the highlight of your athletic career:  Medaling at OFSAA as an unknown newcomer in grade 9; Holding all three elementary school high jump records; Being part of Team Canada for the IAAF World Youth Track & Field Championships and winning my first gold medal at OFSAA in the same year (2003), tying to break the LSSAA 100m senior hurdle record

12. Future Goals:  Have a successful university career, get into sport medicine and have a family after school
