8. Why did you start participating in Track and
Field: I started to do tetrathlons, where I began
running (first race), and I also wanted to shut my
brother up because he had won a race and kept on
bragging. I continued it though because I enjoyed
it.
9. What does participating in Track and Field mean
to you: Track and Field is a hobby. I do it
for fun, enjoyment, and a challenge.
10. To what do you attribute your improvements in
the sport: I attribute my improvements to
training, coaching, starting to take medication
for asthma, and realising that races weren't
supposed to feel like a normal run.
11. What is the highlight of your athletic career:
The highlight of my athletic career was qualifying
for National Tetrathlon in 2000 with a score of
3841.
12. Future Goals: To go to OFSAA, qualify for
nationals in Modern Pentathlon, to complete high
school with a 90%+ average, and to go to
University.
13. Plans after you finish running: I'm
going to keep on running until some part of me
won't allow it due to illness/injury/age.
