2003 Results

Ontario Bantam, Midget and Junior Indoor

WINDSOR- Members of the Sarnia Athletics Southwest Track Club competed well at the Ontario Bantam, Midget and Junior Age Class Indoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Windsor.
 
Grade 11 student, Alyson Kohlmeier, lead the way for the local club winning both the junior girl's 800 and 1500 metre events.  Her times in both events represented seasonal best times.  Sarah Nelson was also a double medalist, winning the junior girl's long jump and adding the silver medal in the triple jump.  Both performances where indoor personal bests for Nelson, the defending Canadian Junior Champion in the long jump.  Kara Wark was the other medal winner for Sarnia ASW, coming away with a bronze medal in the the 15 years and under midget girl's division 1500 metres.
 
Indoor personal bests where recorded by the following Sarnia ASW athletes:  Laura Moran (1500/3000m), Claire Percival (1500/3000m), Jacyln Doyle (1500/3000m), Kara Wark (1500m), Sarah Nelson (triple jump/long jump), Jillian Drouin (60m hurdles/high jump), Angela Melhuish (high jump), Maggie Lynch (60m hurdles/400m), Ainsley McHenry (400/800m), Jamie Nelson (1500/3000m), Andy Yzerbaert (shot put), Amanda Ayers (1500/3000m), and Kassie Joy (3000m).
