YORK- Jordan Banninga of the Sarnia Athletics 

Southwest Track and Field Club represented 

Team Ontario at the recent Eastern Ontario 

Espoir (Under 24 years of age) Championships 

at York University.  Banninga placed third in 

the men’s javelin throw with a distance of 

56.70 metres.  Banninga recently placed third 

at the Canadian Junior Track and Field 

Championships in Saskatoon, Sk in the 

same event where he record a personal best of 

58.48m.
