8. Why did you start participating in Track and Field:
I participated in sports a lot in elementary school,
so track was just another sport that I could do, and I
enjoyed the competitive nature of the sport.
9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to
you: It gives me an opportunity to meet people
from across the country, and become friends with.
Also, it gives you something to go after, or is a
challenge.
10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the
sport: Hard work and training. Also, having
coaches and other athletes to push you to your full
potential really helps.
11. What is the highlight of your athletic career:
OFSAA Gr 9 - when I got third in the 1500, because I
wasn't really expected to medal. Also, the 3000 that
year, because it was a close race and it came down the
finish.
