8. Why did you start
participating in Track and Field: I love to run! Running
relieves stress, and it’s great
conditioning for other sports.
9. What does participating
in Track and Field mean to you: It allows me to
challenge myself, forcing self-discipline and
determination, which in turn develops a positive frame
of mind.
10. To what do you
attribute your improvements in the sport: Soccer has
built up a lot of my endurance and strength, and my
parents’ support has helped me push myself to become a
better runner.
11. What is the highlight
of your athletic career: Realizing that x-country can
be fun! Coming 2nd in the LSSAA x-country
meet, 3rd in the SWOSSAA meet, and going to
my first OFSAA x-country meet in Port Hope.

continue running and keep fit

running: To pursue a career in medical speciality (but
still keep running )
