Some important dates in the near future for everyone to mark on your calendars:

Saturday, September 7^th:  Detroit-Mercy Invitational Cross-Country Meet (5km)- Cass Benton Park.  Open to high school aged cross-country athletes.

Friday, Sept. 20th to 22^nd:  Annual Sarnia Athletics Southwest Track Club Fall Training Camp- Lambton United Church Centre, Forest.  Open to all age groups, available space for 24 in total.  Cost = $60 to cover accommodations and transportation, athlete responsible for their own meals.  Departing Friday after school by van(s), returning home on Sunday afternoon.  More info to follow. 

Friday, October 4^th and 5^th:  Portage, Michigan Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School Cross-Country Invitational.  The Portage meet is the largest cross-country meet in the state of Michigan and this is our 3^rd time attending.  We are going to depart Friday by van(s) as soon after school as possible.  Staying at Days Inn in Kalamazoo.  We have a block of 8 rooms, so if any parents are interested in staying over let me know before September 30^th.
