girl's cross country team to medal (silver) at OFSAA
Cross Country, 2001;
OFSAA participant every year in both cross country and
track and field; part of the gold medal winning
team at OTFA cross country in 1999 and on the silver
medal team in 2000; 4th place at indoor BMJ's
in 2002, in the 800m; Champion of Normandy,
France in the 1500m in 2001.
8. Why did you start participating in Track and
Field: Ever since I was little, I've always loved
running so it was natural for me to join the track and
cross country teams when I came to high school.
9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to
you: It means pushing myself to my limits, and working
hard to achieve goals and succeed in life.
10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the
sport: I attribute my improvements in the sport to hard
work, great coaching, perseverance, and running on my
off days!
11. What is the highlight of your athletic
career: The highlight of my career was being
champion of Normandy in the 1500m, on the last day of my
exchange to France in 2001, as well as qualifying for
France Nationals in Bordeaux, two weeks later.
12. Future Goals: To continue running throughout my
life, and see how far it takes me. I would like to study
to be a doctor, while still running and training all the
way through university.
13. Plans after you finish running: I'm never
going to finish running.
