-member of the Canadian 2002 World Junior Cross Country Team

-member of the 2001 Canadian World Youth Track and Field Team, 8th place in the 1500m

-bronze and silver medalist at the 2001 Canada Summer Games

8. Why did you start participating in Track and Field: My mom was the track and cross country coach at St. Patrick's so when I was really young she would take me to her practices and I would run with her athletes.

9. What does participating in Track and Field mean to you: Participating in track to me means hard work, determination and dedication. Track is about setting goals and working hard to achieve them.

10. To what do you attribute your improvements in the sport: To the great training group we have in Sarnia. Also, to the amazing coaches we have who care a lot about their athletes.

11. What is the highlight of your athletic career: Making the final at the World Youth Championships in Hungary in 2001 where I was 8th in the 1500m.

12. Future Goals: I hope to get a scholarship to the U.S. and hopefully one day make an Olympic team

13. Plans after you finish running:  I plan on running my whole life!!  After I am finished running competitively I hope to become a doctor.
